I performed a fresh install of Windand everything works perfectly!. I have had this setup installed for many months and it works great, apologies for the late update. This does not bother me as I uninstall purge-nvda and re-enable the dGPU when I want to use the laptop as a portable machine. NVDAGPUWakeHandler does not work for me on Catalina, so waking from sleep is broken. I installed Grub to my EFI partition and can boot with an enabled/disabled eGPU at any time. This then allows any MacOS apps that are running to use the eGPU for all rendering by default. This fixes clamshell mode, and allows closing the laptop lid to disable the internal display. Disable the dGPU using an EFI boot alteration with Grub bootloader. My reply here details a lag issue with many apps when running the eGPU in MacOS, especially Google Chrome.
